Say hello to our Featured DivaGirl for September, Lisa Gaspar.  Lisa is a Toronto beauty who is a budding PR professional.  You can find her at your local café with a book and espresso in hand. Looking to travel the world is a top priority on her list of goals. Creating content is one of her hobbies conveyed through her lifestyle blog all about pop-culture. Fun fact about her: “Majority of my wardrobe is Pink.”

What is your definition of a leader? Please provide an example of when you had to lead a group.

A leader is a role model who sets a good example for their team.  From personal experience, I had the chance to become a leader in Fashion school during a Photo Styling project.  My main task was to pick and choose 3 different looks while leading the group in the photo shoot process. End result: A black and white punk rock theme.

What are the (3) things you can’t live without?

Spotify, Soy Milk, and my phone to stay updated on social media

What do you do to get fit, have fun and feel sexy?

Yoga and just starting to get into meal preps

What are (3) staple outfits in your closet

A tailored blazer, tassel earrings, and my Longchamp backpack

What is your definition of a DivaGirl? How does being a DivaGirl make you feel empowered and inspired?

An independent and sassy woman, that is all about girl power (women supporting women)

What are your three major accomplishments and why?

Graduating from University, developing my own lifestyle blog and being published in print

Aside from your family and close friends, who are your other outside influencers and how have they changed you?

I would have to say Lauren Conrad; she has really been a motivation and inspiration for me to pursue the Fashion and Public Relations industry.

If you can have dinner with someone from past, present, or future who would it be and why?

I would choose a high tea setting at a local Toronto restaurant with Bethany Mota.  She’s an established influencer and sharing ideas with like-minded individuals is my cup of tea.

What is the last book you read?

#Girlboss written by Sophia Amoruso, it was a fun read and also a Netflix series!

What has been challenging for you as an entrepreneur? How did you overcome it?

Building connections was the biggest challenge, so I decided to join memberships to expand my network

What is the ONE word that best describes you?

“Chameleon”

What is your go to cheat food or comfort food of choice?

Egg Bites from Starbucks!
