Someone that teaches and doesn’t just direct, empathetic and someone who empowers their team be better.

If you can travel anywhere in the world, where would that be and why?

Hawaii, because of its beauty, I have always wanted to go there!

What is your typical morning routine to start your day and get motivated?

My morning routine starts after my kids get to school actually, I have my coffee and try and fit in some personal development or reflection. 3 days a week I also fit in a workout.

What are your (3) staple outfits in your closet.

I am far from a fashionista, but I would say I have 3 key pieces and that would be skinny jeans, a flowy top and my Tom’s at the moment.

What is your definition of a Divagirl? How does being a DivaGirl make you feel empowered and inspired?

A Divagirl is someone who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to take action. Because of that, it makes me feel empowered to be myself. Being a Divagirl has helped me see my potential and that I can go after what I want and that I am very capable and worthy!

What are your three major accomplishments and why?

Giving birth twice was a pretty big deal to me (physically and emotionally), becoming a bestselling author and having the ability to help people with Reiki has been my most recent and rewardingaccomplishment.

What’s the one piece of advice you would give to other business owners/want to start a business?

Be prepared to work hard for what you want. It is not easy, but it is so rewarding and worth it if you can stick it out. Be sure to have other like-minded women in your circle, because only they will understand what you’re going through, especially if you’re a mother. You need at least one go to person outside of your home that you can confide in.

If you can have dinner with someone from past, present, or future who would it be and why?

I have always wanted to meet Nelson Mandela!

What is the last book you read?

Becoming by Michelle Obama

What has been challenging for you as an entrepreneur? How did you overcome it?

I have found that balance is really hard and so I have let that go and don’t really like the word anymore. Meaning, instead I look at my life in stages. When my kids were smaller, I was focused on being a mom, now that they’re older I can focus more on the accomplishments I want to make. Of course, being a mother hasn’t stopped, but my kids are much more independent. I do make sure I take 1 full day off a week to re-energize and have focused family time. That has been very good for me and my family.

What is the ONE word that best describes you?

Unstoppable

What are the (3) things you love about yourself/make you unique?

I have a gift of reading people’s intentions, like I can tell when people are lying to me for example, it’s like I can hear their truth without them actually saying it. I love how I can relate to people and make strong connections. I also am loving and accepting myself more for who I am, which has been a 4-year journey! I am still a work in progress, but I have come a long way and still learning so much about myself.

What is your favorite thing to do to recharge your mind and your body?

My favorite thing to do is to have an Epsom salt bath with lavender oil or watch a comedy show or movie, laughing is such a great release for me.

Beautiful, Ambitious, Intelligent and Accomplished…Congratulations Amy!
