What is the ONE word that best describes you?

Multifaceted

What is your definition of a leader?

A leader is someone who uplifts the people around her or her team and encourages them to be the best they can be. A leader doesn’t seek attention for herself, but rather let’s her team feel accomplished. A leader has people management skills and is considered an inspiration to the people around her.

If you can travel anywhere in the world, where would that be and why?

That is difficult as I have the whole world to explore!  Right now, I would love to travel to Italy. I am a big foodie (I love to eat and try different types of cuisine) and love fashion. Both my loves together!

What do you do to get fit, have fun at and feel sexy?

I workout. I recently completed the Spartan super (my first attempt at Spartan) and it made me feel fit. It also raised my confidence level and we all know to feel sexy the first step is being confident. I focus on taking care of my body – I don’t starve or I am not a size 0- true TLC is eating right, balancing your cravings, doing workouts that push you and laughter. This is my recipe for getting fit, having fun and feeling sexy!

What are your (3) quick make up tips?

Eyeliner- A quick simple winged eye or rimmed eyes make a big difference.

Mascara/False lashes. – If you don’t have time for a full face just use lashes or mascara. You look instantly awake and your eyes do become the focal point adding definition to the face.

Red lips.

What is your definition of a DivaGirl? How does being a DivaGirl make you feel empowered and inspired?

A DivaGirl is a strong woman who is a go-getter and genuinely empowers women to achieve their goals and dreams. She hustles and isn’t afraid to get out there!

What are your three major accomplishments and why?

I founded a unique brand which combines both digital marketing and fashion which plays a huge impact on the industry.

I have a track record in training models while producing shows across Canada.

I am a fitness advocate that completed the Spartan super race. This gave me a piece of mind that nothing will limit me physically, emotionally and professionally

Aside from your family and close friends, who are your other outside influencers and how have they changed you?

My influencers are my experiences. Every incident positive or negative has influenced me, a positive project challenges me to exceed my own expectations while a negative experience reminds me to accept responsibility for my actions and open myself to learning new ways/methods to achieve my target goal.

Favorite Quote/Motto that you live by?

“I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world”

If you can have dinner with someone from past, present, or future who would it be and why?

Mahatma Gandhi- as a child I grew up on his teachings and books on him. He changed history with patience, perseverance and non-violence.  He is the definition of what we say “be the bigger person”

I am still learning to be that and his readings and teachings are a constant reminder of it.

What is the last book you read?

“The subtle art of not giving a fuck” I have lived my life that way but It made me self reflect on certain concept.

What has been challenging for you as an entrepreneur? How did you overcome it?

It has been challenging to start in a new city. Coming from Montreal as things were taking off, my family decided to move to Toronto. My first year was lonely and I didn’t know anyone in the city. It seemed almost impossible to promote my self and get projects.  I overcame it by restarting from scratch- applying for internships, attending events  myself, volunteering my time and services – meeting all kinds of people and creating opportunities for myself.

Rashi was nominated for a 2015 Notable.ca Award in social media, for the FAB award in 2017 and serves on the board for Fashion Circuit series and is part of Sapna Toronto an organization that connects people together.
